So at last the new season is with us. I’m afraid I was well and truly spoiled for this episode, so nothing came as a surprise, but even so it was a good premiere. Lots of action, a significant death, the arrogant brothers put in their place by a seriously awesome Obi-Wan and Hondo being, well Hondo. Even within the limits of watching online it was obvious that the animation has once more taken a big step forward.

In some ways the Light Side version of Ventress, Ahsoka has also changed a lot from her first appearance in The Clone Wars Movie. I’m not sure I can say anything else that we can all agree on 🙂

To help pass the time between the end of the planned rewatch and the arrival of season 5 I thought we might spend a couple of days discussing possibly the most intriguing and developed character in the show. Slave, Jedi Padawan, Dark Side assassin and would be Sith, Nightsister and now bounty hunter, Asajj Ventress. Who would have thought she’d have such an interesting story when we first saw her in The Clone Wars movie?
