WeepingAngels1

The Weeping Angels, also known as the lonely assassins, are a deadly race of aliens who appear as winged humanoid statues. They are quantum locked which means that they cannot move while other creatures are looking at them, including themselves. It acts as a defence mechanism for them because as soon as they are observed they turn to stone and cannot be killed. This is why they often appear with their hands over their face so that they can avoid looking at each other by accident. However, to make up for this they can move extremely fast, meaning that even blinking is dangerous when confronting one. They can go from seemingly harmless and somewhat beautiful statues to slightly unnerving stalker and finally to downright terrifying killers. When they are young they appear as Cherubs, possessing similar powers to their adult counterparts. When they grow older or weaker they begin to decay like normal statues would. They also appear much less like their normal forms and are also much slower, but still just as deadly.
